“How God & KIROS Transform My Daily Work”
Quality & Project Manager
Jessica Zistatsis is a mechanical engineer, quality manager, and project manager at Orthocare Innovations, a rehabilitation device R&D company in Edmonds, WA. Her current vocational calling is to create prosthetic devices that enable individuals with limb differences to achieve their greatest mobility potential in order that they might best live out their own callings. She believes that our work is a gift from the Lord that glorifies Him and serves others, and that KIROS provides an authentic community that equips Christians to create decisions, strategies, and relationships in the workplace through a Biblical perspective. After attending KIROS for a year, Jessica helped launch the KIROS Young Professionals chapter. Jessica attends Sound City Bible Church in Lynnwood, and in her free time enjoys hiking, swing dancing, and singing.
Mike has been attending KIROS since 2011, where he has served as the Bellevue Chapter Director, COO, and Board Chair for KIROS. Having his eyes opened to the fact that God wants us to do His will in the marketplace has inspired him to change the way he approaches his day and his clients. “KIROS has had a transformational effect on my life. It gives me so much purpose at work because not only do I know it is His will, I now know many Christians in the same space.” Mike currently owns a financial services practice in Bellevue serving individuals, families and business owners with their retirement planning needs. He is blessed with a wonderful wife, married almost 29 years and has two terrific children.
Jessica Zitatsis and Michael Wehner are at different stages of life doing very different kinds of daily work. Both have found KIROS to be helpful to them in seeing what they do every day as work for God. Both have been leaders in making KIROS a reality: Michael has just completed three years as board chair, and Jessica is the new KIROS board chair. They will share separately and collaboratively some of what they have learned about walking with Jesus in their work.
