“Job Search: Telling Your Story”
Dennis Brooke is a University of Washington graduate who served in the US Air Force in Germany during the fall of the Berlin Wall. After his Air Force career, he moved into technology management and leadership and worked in locations ranging from Sydney to Sao Paulo. He has been a hiring manager for companies ranging from 5 person startups to Fortune 5 multi-nationals.
In this KIROS Transition session, Dennis will share tips for sharing your professional story in the form of an elevator pitch. Participants will learn to create a positive impression during the hiring process.
He is the former president of the Northwest Christian Writers Association and the author of The Last Apostle, a novel based on the idea that John, the last living apostle of Jesus Christ, is still alive and living in…Seattle.
KIROS Transitions is a resource for people in career transition. The agenda for our Zoom meeting will include introductions and practice of 45 second elevator speeches (optional), speaker presentation, and Q & A time.
