1. If you have been attending KIROS events for a while and have enjoyed the table discussions, please consider serving as Table Captain – contact Scott Hommas at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details. This volunteer position requires minimal preparation, but is extremely valuable in ensuring that our guests (especially first-timers) are well-served at KIROS breakfast events.
2. AV specialist – We are looking for a person who has good proficiency with audio-visual equipment and processes. This requires oversight of set up (arrive between 6:15 and 6:30 am), quality control and coordination as needed during the monthly meeting. Ideally, we would like a small team so that we have ongoing coverage for our 11 monthly meetings and flexibility for those covering this.
3. Sound specialist – KIROS records all events which are uploaded to the website for those who wish to listen again or may miss a meeting. This may be a separate role from the AV team, or it may be combined. Another small team opportunity to assure coverage and quality. If you have these talents, we’re looking for you!
4. Event planning – Event Planners have special radar to multi-task and keep many moving parts moving! Our greeting and registration team members are looking to add this talent to oversee the smooth flow of our monthly meetings. Please join us to make our events exceptional.
KIROS Transitions exists to connect, encourage and equip Christians who are in career transition and to be of support to one another by providing prayer and sharing of job-related information that can be helpful in finding new employment. Registration for the breakfast event is not required to attend Transitions group meetings. This group begins at 8:45am immediately following KIROS Bellevue meetings and ends at 9:45am.
