“Language Matters: You and the Future of Global Communication”
Senior Business Development Manager
Michael Stevens is a Senior Business Development Manager for Moravia, serving global technology customers insuring they have the right resources in place to reach customers internationally. Previously, he was an ordained minister, pastoring All Nations Church in Oakland, CA, while focusing on community development in the city. The impact of faith and work has been at the center of Michael’s theological studies and life.
Michael has been attending KIROS since 2008, after he returned to Seattle and the CEO of his new company recommended he check it out. He is currently the Seattle Chapter Director for KIROS.
Michael and his wife Karin have three daughters and attend St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Seattle.
Since the Tower of Babel, we are told we have had different languages. How have they brought the global business community together and how do they keep us separate? Will technology allow us to overcome this gap and if so, is it a further act of rebellion? Michael brings ten years of working in the language industry, mostly with technology companies to explore this topic.
