“How to Measure Success as a Christ-Follower at Work”
Note: This month the event will meet on Friday, instead of Thursday.
Dream Bigger Ventures
Christeen Rico is a follower of Jesus intent on making God’s love visual in and through business. She was born in Angeles City (Philippines), migrated to the San Francisco Bay Area (USA) at age 3, completed her BS-MS at New York University, and has spent the past decade in the Silicon Valley tech industry launching digital and physical experiences in new markets from strategy through execution, most recently with Apple where she also co-led the company’s Christian employee resource group for several years. Today she’s building on her Silicon Valley experiences to solve major problems in the Philippines through venture-building as Founder/CEO of Dream Bigger Ventures and Venture Partner at Archangel Impact Capital. Christeen remains active in catalyzing the global faith and work movement serving in numerous volunteer/advisory roles for ministries such as Faith & Work Movement Global, the Lausanne Movement Global Workplace Ministry, Generosity Bay Area, and Faith Driven Entrepreneur / Investor.
Metrics permeate almost every aspect of our daily life — school (grades), business (profit), fitness (weight), diet (calorie count), social media (likes or follows), employment (performance/promotions) and so on. Yet many Christ-followers lack an intentional vision and measure of success for spiritual growth. Why does this matter, and what can you do next?
