01 The Job At World Vision USA we invite people to positively impact the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children through charitable giving. Our recipe includes love of all people, thriftiness, and targeting the root causes of poverty to bring about human transformation and fullness of life. With us every 60 seconds a family gets water, a hungry child is fed, and a family gets the tools to overcome poverty.
As Data Privacy Program Manager your expertise will be brought to bear on work that is close to the heart of God (in the spirit of Matthew 25:34-40). If you have a passion to connect your talent to life-changing work with impact, look no further. Start the pursuit of a role that would see you leading major organizational changes by catalyzing tech and marketing teams to integrate a robust data privacy program into our larger digital transformation strategy, and ultimately changing the world in a life-changing way. Picture your work ultimately helping more children, families, and their communities overcome poverty and injustice.
Here’s your opportunity to have the challenging yet highly rewarding experience of building a program from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for laying the foundation for data privacy at World Vision. It will take your strong work ethic, leadership, influence, networking, perseverance, expertise, and more to bring this to reality. But you won’t do it alone. You’ll be joining our highly talented and diverse team of fellow believers that will support you personally and professionally every step of the way. Additionally, the high visibility and importance of this work will mean you’ll have regular interactions with the CFO, CIO, CISO and other business leaders who will help to make you successful.
Report to the CISO/CTO and serve within a 4-person information security team that sits within the larger Digital Team of nearly 100 staff which includes teams that create digital experiences for our donors and teams that support back office functions.
You’ll be joining the organization that flipped the script on child sponsorship with the introduction of Chosen®, recognized by AdWeek, MediaPost, Upworthy, Christianity Today, and winner of two 2020 ANA REGGIE Awards. And fundamental to your life: you’re inspired by your faith in Jesus to love God and love your neighbors. Does this sound like you? Want to be a part of creating the future of this incredible organization? We’d love to hear from you.
