The primary responsibility of the Group Account Director is to lead their respective groups in the strategy and annual planning of assigned accounts. As the client team lead, the GAD serves as the senior strategist, providing overall marketing strategy, fundraising strategy, industry knowledge and counsel for all group accounts. This role is ultimately responsible for the satisfaction and profitability of their group of accounts.

The secondary responsibility of the GAD is to work closely with the Business Development team in the Sales Discovery and Spec Planning phases, developing marketing solutions that solve prospects’ business objectives and landing net new business for the agency.

The tertiary responsibility of the GAD is to work with their assigned Client Services associates, establishing training and development plans, managing growth opportunities, group/individual utilization(s) and realization(s), as well as the annual EDP process.
