“Connecting Faith with Daily Work in the Puget Sound Region: Reviewing the Past, Anticipating the Future”
How can we connect our faith with our daily work? What is God doing through Christians and organizations in the Puget Sound region?
Over a dozen Christian work and faith organizations have partnered together to host this dinner event on April 21, 2016 at Seattle Pacific University. Registration and mingle time will start at 6:00 p.m. and dinner and program will begin at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $35 per person.
Learn about the history of work and faith movements in the Pacific Northwest. You will also hear from Tom Nelson, senior pastor of Christ Community Church in Kansas. Tom is also President of Made to Flourish, a network of pastors integrating work and faith, and author of Work Matters: Connecting Sunday Worship to Monday Work . A curated set of work and faith books and resources will be available for purchase. Information on the different work and faith groups will also be available.
Workplace Christians, students and church staff are encouraged to attend, to hear what God is doing in the Puget Sound through various individuals and groups.
Registration and Mingle Time start at 6:00 p.m.
Dinner and program will begin at 6:30 p.m.
